We purchased a Subaru Ascent Limited for our long-term test. This is the top-of-the-line trim, and it’s loaded with features. The Ascent Limited also comes standard with Subaru’s DriverFocus safety system. This system uses facial recognition technology to make sure the driver is paying attention to the road.

We’ve been driving the Ascent for several months now, and we’re still impressed! This SUV has great acceleration and handling. It’s also very comfortable to drive, even on long trips. We love all the features of our Limited trim level, especially the DriverFocus system. This system has definitely come in handy on more than one occasion!

We’ve also been very happy with the Ascent’s fuel economy. We average about 27 mpg on the highway, which is great for a large SUV. The Ascent has plenty of power to tow trailers and campers, too. We’ve towed our camper several times, and the Ascent had no trouble at all.
